Ce-i o iubire?Te scoate din sarite atata saracie de spirit intr-o discutie alcatuita din notiuni primare, grosolane, cu intelesuri nediferentiate.Ce stiu ei despre dragoste si vorbesc interminabil?Platitudini..simple cuvinte ale vreunei carti,doar niste dogme banale.
 Un bandaj aplicat prea multe zile pe o rana si se lipeste de ea de nu-l mai poti desface decat cu suferinte de neindurat, dar doua suflete care s-au impletit..au crescut apoi impreuna? Daca admiti ca o casnicie e o asociatie pentru bunul trai e rusinos sa protestezi apoi cand e dizolvata. Dar cum sa admiti formula metafizica vulgara ca iubirea sufleteasca e o conjugare de entitati abstracte , care cand se desfac se regasesc in aceeasi forma si cantitate ca inainte de contopire: doi litri de apa si de sare pusi la distilat dau un litru si jumatate de apa si o jumatate de litru de sare; amesteci iar si iar ai doi litri de apa si sare? A crede ca iubirea sufletelor e o astfel de combinare simplista inseamna, fireste, a discuta ca toata lumea, prosteste..
  O iubire e mai degraba un proces de autosugestie...Trebuie timp si complicitate pentru formarea ei. De cele mai multe ori te obisnuiesti greu la inceput, sa-ti placa partenerul fara care mai tarziu nu poti trai.. Iubesti mai inai din mila, din indatorire, din duiosie, iubesti pentru ca stii k asta o face fericita, iti repeti ca nu e loial sa inseli atata incredere. Pe urma te obisnuiesti cu surasul si vocea ei, asa cum te obisnuiesti cu un peisaj. Si treptat doresti prezenta ei zilnica. Se sting in tine mugurii oricaror altor prietenii si iubiri. Toate planurile de viitor ti le faci in functie de preferintele ei. Vrei succese ca sa ai surasul ei. Psihologia arata ca au o tendinta de stabilizare starile sufletesti repetate si ca, mentinute cu vointa , duc la o adevarata boala. Orice iubire e ca un monoideism, voluntar la inceput, patologic pe urma.
